Hello. My name is Ana. My report is about how a frog grows.

A frog starts as a tiny egg in a pond. A tadpole comes out of the egg. A tadpole has a tail and no legs. It lives in the water.

Then the tadpole grows back legs. Next it grows front legs. Its tail gets shorter and shorter.

At last it is a frog. Now it can hop on land and swim in the water too.

The question

Choose the best answer.

What happens right after the tadpole grows back legs?

  • It grows front legs.Correct answer
  • Its tail gets longer.
  • It goes back into the egg.
  • It loses its back legs.

Why “It grows front legs.” is correct

This is a sequence question built on the signal words 'Then' and 'Next' in the middle of the report. The child has to hold the order: back legs, then front legs, then the tail shrinks. Count the steps on fingers together on a second listen.

Why the other answers are wrong

  • Its tail gets longer. — The tail gets shorter, not longer.
  • It goes back into the egg. — A tadpole comes out of the egg. It never goes back in.
  • It loses its back legs. — The frog keeps its back legs. It needs them to hop.
